As a kid, Lunar New Year meant big family gatherings and lai see.
The lucky red envelopes.
Crisp bills tucked inside.
A line of aunties and uncles passing on luck, prosperity, and good fortune.
Lai see was never just about money. It was symbolic. (Although my sister and I couldnโt wait to count how much money we โearnedโ at the end of the night.)
A reminder that wealth is meant to circulate.
That prosperity is shared across generations.
That luck is something we participate in creating.

In Chinese astrology, the Horse represents freedom, drive, independence, and forward momentum.
Fire amplifies it. Passion. Visibility. Courage. Decisive action.
The Fire Horse is bold.
It does not wait for ideal conditions.
It does not dilute its presence.
It moves.
Which raises a question for leaders and decision makers:
Where are you waiting for certainty when courage would suffice?
Where could you afford to be bolder this year?
Fire can illuminate. It can also consume.
So the real work is not about moving faster.
It is about moving with intention.
How do you want to use your fire this year?
To warm or to burn?
To energize your team or to scorch relationships?
To light a path forward or to react in frustration?
This is a year to embody decisiveness without recklessness.
Boldness with discernment.
The red envelope symbolizes passing on prosperity.
I want to pass on to you courage, clarity, and forward motion this Lunar New Year.
How will you embody Fire Horse energy in the way you live, lead, and choose?
