Stop Chasing "Aha!" Moments

People often leave a workshop or coaching session saying:

"I had so many aha moments!"

Great.

Now what?

Insight doesn't create transformation.

Applied insight does.

I've coached leaders who had incredible breakthroughs... and six months later, nothing had changed.

I've also coached leaders who had no dramatic breakthrough at all. They simply committed to working on a new skill, one uncomfortable action at a time.

You can guess which group actually experienced lasting transformation.

Don't measure growth by the number of aha moments you have.

Measure it by the number of new behaviors you implement, deliberately practice, and repeat.

Because awareness is the first step, and actually doing something about it is what leads to change.

What's one thing you’ve learned recently that still hasn't become a habit?
